Jools is back at the Assembly Hall

Wednesday 22 to Thursday 23 May

Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are back by popular demand! After a sell out show last year, Jools Holland is returning to the Assembly Hall Theatre for two nights this year!

Jools initially built his legendary reputation with the band Squeeze, with such hits as Up The Junction and Cool For Cats, that gave rise to a meteoric success including performances at New York's Madison Square Garden.

In 1987, Jools formed The Jools Holland Big Band with Gilson Lavis. This has gradually metamorphosed into the current 19 piece Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

After a short stint at the legendary Blue Note Café in New York, Jools and the orchestra are bringing their new tour to Tunbridge Wells.

Featuring Gilson Lavis, with special guests Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson from The Selecter, guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Mabel Ray, and with support from Christopher Holland and Siobhan Parr.
