May Day celebrations at Kent Life
On 6 May 2019, join in the celebrations for May Day at Kent Life, which will include Morris dancing. Perhaps even have a go at the Morris dancing workshops yourself!
Enjoy live music and take the Grand Tug of War challenge. Fairground rides will also be available for a small charge.
At midday, watch the annual parade and the crowning ceremony of Kent Life’s 2019 Royal Court. Before coming along to the event, why not nominate your child to be the next May Queen, King Prince or Princess in the Royal Court. Please send a short e-mail detailing why they would be perfect, along with the child’s name and age to enquiries@kentlife.org.uk. Applications close 22 April.
Children can also enjoy all the family favourites at Kent Life including meeting the farm’s smaller animals in cuddle corner and taking a peek at the Meerkats in their enclosure. Everyone can also take one of the fun farm rides round the attraction.
There is also a large indoor soft play area covering three floors and the chance to burn off steam on the bouncy castle.
For a small charge choose to take a ride on one of the adorable donkeys or get creative in the indoor ‘paint-a-pot’ studio.
