More than £4800 raised for Kent charity at Chart Hills golf day

Kent based charity Family Matters is to benefit from an incredible donation of £4852.23 following a fundraising golf day hosted by Perrys Chartered Accountants at Chart Hills Golf Club.

Twenty-two teams clubbed together during the event, which saw players of all abilities take on the 18 hole course in a day filled with competitive spirit, philanthropic goodwill and some rather outlandish outfits.

Following the competition, guests enjoyed a three course meal while further funds were raised during a charity raffle, which was supported by local businesses including Café du Monde, Prestige Guarding Limited and The Mercer Restaurant.

Chairman at Family Matters John Doody said, ‘We are so grateful to Perrys and the wonderful people who came out to support our charity during the golf day. It was a highly enjoyable event and we would like to thank everyone for giving so generously and making such a difference to the charity.’

CEO at Perrys, Stewart Pope, added: ‘It was a great day and we are absolutely delighted by the generosity of all the people involved. We are sure that the funds raised will go a long way to supporting the very important service that Family Matters provides to the Kent community.’

Perrys has seven branches including Tunbridge Wells, West Malling and Wrotham.
